These culottes by House of Foxy are inspired by the fashion of the 1930s, and thanks to their wide leg shape they are barely distinguishable from a pleated skirt at first glance. Only in movement does the trouser shape become visible, which makes them especially comfortable for everyday wear. The red goes just as well with a white blouse as with knitwear in cream or brown.
Seven pleats are worked in all around, including a central pleat at the front. The culottes sit on the natural waist and fasten at the side with four buttons, which add an asymmetric detail. Decorative seams and the deep crotch gusset complete the look. They are made from 70% ramie and 30% cotton, a natural fibre blend that is pleasant to wear. Depending on the size, the length is about 70 to 76 cm. Made in Yorkshire, England.
