Marlene trousers Bonny in Anthracite

High-waisted Marlene trousers in anthracite with a wide waistband, fastened by three fabric-covered buttons on the front placket; a curved yoke is attached below. From the laid-in pleats, topstitched at the top, the leg falls wide and straight from the hip to the hem, and a continuous crease holds the line. Side pockets at the front, two jetted pockets at the back. The high waist visually lengthens the leg, in the classic tailoring of the 30s and 40s. Pair with a simple blouse, a fine turtleneck or a waistcoat in the same shade.

The material is 100% wool: a fine houndstooth in black and wool white that looks like a calm anthracite from a few steps away. The yarn is slightly nubbly and the weave open and woolly; the fabric is firm, has a good hand and drapes heavily.
