The Vivienne dress is modelled on a 1950s shirt dress. The fitted bodice with darts is fastened to the waist with large caramel brown buttons, and the oversized pointed collar opens into a V-neckline. The short sleeves are lightly gathered at the shoulder and end in turned-up cuffs. A belt in the same fabric with a covered buckle and metal eyelets runs through loops at the waist; below it a full pleated skirt falls to below the knee, with pockets in the side seams. On a navy background, the Dog Concierge print shows rows of autumn trees in green and mustard yellow, swirling leaves, leafy vines, white and grey cloud bands and small scenes in the style of the 1920s: ladies in long coats out for a walk and a dog sitter leading a whole pack of greyhounds on leads. A cardigan in mustard yellow, green or cream goes well with it.
The outer fabric is 100% organic cotton, tightly woven with a fine twill texture. The dress was made in Great Britain.
