A dress in the style of the early 1930s by The House of Foxy in blush pink crepe. The V-neckline is framed by a large, cascading ruffle collar in antique cream that lies over the shoulders at the back like a small cape. Below it, three fabric-covered buttons in cream add an accent. Under the bust the bodice is gathered and leads into a narrow waist yoke with an applied fabric belt and covered buckle. The short sleeves are lightly gathered at the sleeve head and have a small pleat at the hem. The skirt, made of narrow panels, fits closely at the hips and thighs and flares out widely towards the hem, the typical flutter silhouette of the 30s, in calf length. The dress closes with a zip at the back, and the skirt is partly lined. Pair with strappy pumps and a cream cardigan.
The material is a crepe of 80% polyester, 17% viscose and 3% elastane with a slight stretch; the collar is 100% viscose and the lining 100% polyester. According to the sewn-in label, hand wash cold; for best results, professional dry cleaning. It is made in Yorkshire, England.
