The Silverscreen Sailorette Dress in Blue Print

The Silverscreen Sailorette Dress is Emmy Design's new edition of a sailor dress from the 1930s, here in a navy print with sweeping brushstrokes in salmon pink and cream. The large collar in soft pink comes to a point at the front and lies across the shoulders at the back as a wide, square collar, with a pink bow at the front. Short sleeves, a fitted bodice and a slim-cut skirt that flares out widely at the bottom thanks to inset, tapering godets create the typical silhouette of the thirties. An elastic belt made from the dress fabric with a pink decorative buckle emphasises the waist. The dress closes with a zip at the back, and there are pockets in both side seams. With a straw hat and strappy pumps it becomes a summer dress for garden parties and dance evenings; with a cardigan in navy or cream it is a dress for every day.

The fabric is a light, flowing viscose with a fine crepe texture. The dress is 100% viscose, the collar 70% viscose and 30% polyester. The dress is made in Lithuania.

- Machine wash up to 30 °C, inside out
- Wash separately due to the light and dark colour areas
- Use detergent without optical brighteners
- Do not bleach
- Do not tumble dry
- Iron inside out at low temperature
- Gentle dry cleaning with PCE possible (P)
- May stretch by up to 1% in width when washed
