The Silverscreen Sailorette Dress in Cream White

The Silverscreen Sailorette Dress is Emmy Design's new edition of a sailor dress from the 1930s. The large sailor collar comes to a point at the front and lies across the shoulders at the back as a wide, square collar; it is edged with two dark blue stripes, and a dark blue bow sits at the front. Short sleeves, a fitted bodice and a slim-cut skirt that flares out widely at the bottom thanks to inset, tapering godets create the typical silhouette of the thirties. An elastic fabric belt with a dark blue decorative buckle emphasises the waist. The dress closes with a zip at the back, and there are pockets in both side seams. With strappy pumps and a straw hat it makes a summery Riviera look; with a navy cardigan the dress is ready for every day.

The material is 60% linen, 39% viscose and 1% elastane. The fabric comes from Bulgaria, and the dress is made in Lithuania.

- Machine wash up to 30 °C, inside out and with similar colours
- Use detergent without optical brighteners
- Do not bleach
- Do not tumble dry
- Iron inside out at low temperature
- Gentle dry cleaning with PCE possible (P)
- No shrinkage if the washing instructions are followed
